A range of aluminum shelves in thicknesses from 25mm to 35mm, available in three lighting configurations: no lighting, front lighting, or front and back lighting. Lait shelves integrate directly with the ONLY and FLY systems, and pair with wood wardrobe builds where a clean illuminated shelf line is required.
Aluminum Illuminated Shelf System
Lait shelves are extruded aluminum panels engineered for use as wardrobe and display shelving. The thickness range spans 25mm to 35mm, allowing specifiers to match the visual mass of the shelf to the system it sits within – slimmer profiles for minimalist closet builds, deeper profiles for shelves that need to accommodate integrated lighting or carry heavier loads.
Each shelf is available in three lighting configurations: a plain unlit shelf, a shelf with front-edge LED lighting, or a shelf with both front and back LED lighting. Lait integrates directly with the ONLY wardrobe profile system and the FLY free-standing system, and is also specified for wood wardrobe builds where the aluminum shelf provides a finished edge.

– Lighting Configurations
Three Lighting Options
Specify the level of integrated illumination based on the shelf application – from a clean unlit aluminum surface to a dual-edge backlit display shelf.

No Lighting
A plain extruded aluminum shelf with no integrated lighting. Suited to general wardrobe storage where lighting is provided externally or is not required.

Closed cabinets, general storage, lit-from-above wardrobes

Front Lighting
An LED strip integrated into the front edge of the shelf, casting light downward onto the items stored on the shelf below. The most common configuration for walk-in wardrobes.
Best For
Walk-in closets, retail display, illuminated wardrobe interiors

Front + Back Lighting
LED strips integrated into both the front and back edges of the shelf, providing ambient backlight and downlight together. Used where the shelf reads as a feature element from both sides.
