A 30mm aluminum shelf frame that assembles using press-fit plastic joints, eliminating the need for connection holes. Extra Lait accepts a glass or wood insert panel and offers integrated LED lighting on one, two, or all four sides. Compatible with the ONLY and FIRST systems, plus wooden wardrobe builds.
Press-Fit Aluminum Shelf Frame
Extra Lait is a 30mm aluminum shelf frame built from a single profile (LA-3023) cut and joined at the corners using right and left press-fit ABS joints (LA-G-EX30-DX-NY and LA-G-EX30-SX-NY). The press-fit joint system eliminates the need for connection holes, simplifying on-site assembly and producing a clean finish on every visible edge.
The frame accepts a glass or wood insert panel: 4–5mm tempered glass for a transparent illuminated shelf face, or a 6mm wood panel for a solid surface that matches surrounding cabinetry. LED lighting can be specified on one, two, or all four sides of the frame, powered by the same IVO 2.0 lamp system used elsewhere in the AluminumXDesign range.

One, Two, or Four-Sided Lighting

A single LED strip integrated into the front edge of the frame, casting downlight onto the items stored on the shelf below. The standard choice for walk-in wardrobes.
